Giving back to the community
AEM Cares
Social responsibility and corporate citizenship are part of our culture at American Equity Mortgage. AEM Cares is our corporate giving program which enables us to give something back to the communities where we do business. After all, these communities are more than just places where we work... they are where we live and raise our families.
Social responsibility and corporate citizenship are part of our culture at American Equity Mortgage. AEM Cares is our corporate giving program which enables us to give something back to the communities where we do business. After all, these communities are more than just places where we work... they are where we live and raise our families.
This is truly a company effort. Events are held throughout the year and 98% of
our employees personally contribute to AEM Cares to support our charitable
organization, the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Partnering with the Make-A-Wish Foundation
It is now our goal, in partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, to grant the wishes of children suffering from life-threatening conditions. Some of the wishes we have granted so far include a family trip to the Bahamas to swim with the dolphins, a wish for a horse, a family trip to Ireland, and several trips to Walt Disney World. Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has enriched the lives of these brave children and their families, and we are honored to help.
