Eleven year old Victor lives near Cincinnati,
Ohio with his family. He suffers from Cerebral Palsy, which confines him to a
wheelchair and requires daily tracheostomy and oxygen treatments. Despite the
difficulties Victor faces every day, he still had dreams of going where so many
children love to go - Disney World. In fact, his desire to visit Disney World
was so strong, he decided to make it his wish.
When American Equity Mortgage heard about Victor and his wish to go to Disney
World, we were thrilled to help! The whole family made the trip to Orlando to
the Magic Kingdom, and they all had a wonderful time. The family was able to
have some quality bonding time and the kids were able to
let loose and just be kids .
When Victor and his family returned from their trip, they paid a special visit
to the American Equity Mortgage office in Cincinnati to say thanks. Carrie
Hensley, Administrative Assistant, commented, “It was a proud moment for
all of us to know that we had a hand in helping to make Victor’s wish come
true. The family was so grateful. By AEM teaming up with the Make-A-Wish
foundation, we truly touched their lives, which in turn, touched ours.
”
American Equity Mortgage is proud to have helped the Make-A-Wish foundation
make Victor’s wish come true.
