AEM Grants Wish for Milwaukee Boy
Brandon hangs out with an AEM employee at his wish party.Brandon, an exuberant five year old boy from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, suffers from Sickle Cell Anemia. Sickle Cell Anemia is a genetic disease of the red blood cells that results in periodic, painful attacks and several other complications.

American Equity Mortgage first heard about Brandon through the Make-A-Wish foundation when Brandon wished to meet Lightning McQueen from the Disney movie Cars. His wish was granted in high style as Brandon and his family were driven to the airport in a limousine for their flight to Disney World.

One of the highlights of Brandon’s trip was having breakfast with Mickey Mouse and friends, but the best part for him was meeting Lightning McQueen, just like he had wished for! Brandon’s family was thrilled with their experience too saying it was, “very exciting and truly a blessing and wonderful gift for Brandon to go on such a trip.”

Brandon’s Disney wish not only brought him excitement and joy, but it also provided an opportunity for the family to be together and forget about battling his illness while building memories that will last a lifetime .

American Equity Mortgage is proud to have helped the Make-A-Wish foundation make Brandon’s wish come true.
