AEM sponsored the Ronald McDonald House of Jacksonville’s “Ole Derby Day” McGala on Saturday, May 1. The event brought together the tradition of the Kentucky Derby with a fiesta theme to create an incredible night!Held at the Sawgrass Mariott Resort, home of the world renowned golf course TPC Sawgrass, the evening’s proceeds supported the efforts of the Ronald McDonald House of Jacksonville. The House has offered support and temporary lodging to over 25,000 families while their sick or injured children have received medical care at Jacksonville's excellent hospitals and clinics.
The night included dinner and a silent auction, hosted by Deanna Fene, anchor for Jacksonville’s ABC 25 news.
“The Gala for the Ronald McDonald House was definitely inspirational. They are a wonderful organization and the event was a joy to be involved in. It really seemed to be a great success,” said Rene Hawn, Administrative Assistant.
