With our strong St. Louis roots, we have been extremely impressed by the St. Louis Cardinals organization and their community foundation, Cardinals Care.Cardinals Care contributes over $12.3 million to local Saint Louis charities that support children. Funding comes from Cardinals players, the team's ownership group, fans and most importantly local businesses including American Equity Mortgage.
On June 18, AEM brought 150 people to Busch Stadium to watch the St. Louis Cardinals face the Minnesota Twins and to present an on-field donation to Cardinals Care. AEM President and CEO Deanna Daughhetee, along with Marketing Managers Andrea Johnson and Linda Thompson, presented a check to Cardinals Care Vice President Mike Hall.
"It was a great opportunity to combine a cause like Cardinals Care with a night at the ballpark," Thompson said, "It was a night that we will all remember for quite some time."
