American Equity Mortgage was a proud sponsor of the Make-a-Wish Foundation® of Middle Tennessee’s latest wish through our Nashville branch.Bishop is a 9-year-old girl who is a huge film and television fan. She was surprised with a red carpet party to celebrate the granting of her wish to see how movies are made.
Once she arrived in Hollywood, Bishop received a tour of Universal Studios and visited the set of "Glee.” She toured the set, had her hair and make-up done with some of the stars, discovered her name on her very own trailer and spent some time behind the camera.
AEM Branch Manager Craig Smidt attended the wish party for Bishop along with several AEM employees.
"It is wonderful to be involved with our Make-a-Wish families,” said Smidt. “It has been rewarding to know and to see how the memories of the granted wish help to keep the children in a positive frame of mind as they battle their illness."
We have continued to be overjoyed with the things that the Make-a-Wish organization has done in our communities and we look forward to granting even more wishes in the future!
