Groundhog Day
Thursday, February 1, 2007

Every year around Groundhog Day, I am reminded of the classic Bill Murray film of the same name. Funny movie, but it’s not funny at all when you feel like you’re living your own personal Groundhog Day.

So many of my customers experience that feeling when they open their credit card bills each day. It seems like the amount owed always stays the same, yet they always try to make the minimum payment in order to stay afloat.

Fortunately, there’s an easy way to put an end to this more-than-annoying debt ritual. At American Equity Mortgage, we can show you the way out of high-interest debt by helping you refinance. Basically, we put the equity in your home to work for you. With an interest rate that’s lower than your credit card’s, and the ability to write off all the interest on your taxes, it’s much easier to get ahead. Not to mention you’ll be writing checks once a month, not once a day.

So this year, in honor of Groundhog Day, add this to your to-do list: Call your local American Equity Mortgage office. My prediction? Groundhog Day is about to become your new favorite holiday!
