American Equity Mortgage Helps Children Have a Happier Holiday Season!

American Equity Mortgage supports our local communities whenever possible, and the need is greater than ever during the holidays.

This holiday season, American Equity Mortgage, through our employee giving program AEM Cares, is bringing joy to disadvantaged youth by participating in the Toys for Tots campaign.

Toys for Tots, which is run through the U.S. Marine Corps, provides brand new toys to needy children in our communities. To some people this may not sound like much, but to the child this toy is a symbol of hope that will help motivate them to grow into responsible, productive members of society.

Without Toys for Tots, most of these children would not have a gift to open on Christmas morning.

AEM Cares collected dolls, teddy bears, robots, balls, games, books and even bicycles from our offices across the country. In total, over 600 toys for children in need were donated in 2008!

American Equity Mortgage employees understand the importance of giving back to our communities and reaching out to those who need our help so much, and we are proud to know we have brought a little happiness to children this holiday season.
