AEM Sponsors FamGlam Gala in Minneapolis

American Equity Mortgage proudly sponsored the 2010 Fam Glam Gala for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Minneapolis on November 13.

Held at Minneapolis Marriott City Center, the Fam Glam Gala was emceed by Don Shelby, former news anchor on local WCCO-TV in Minneapolis. The night's festivities included a cocktail reception, silent and live auctions and dinner.

Since 1979, over 6,000 families from all over the world have benefited from the services and hospitality provided by volunteers and staff of Ronald McDonald House Charities in Minnesota.

The house in Minneapolis has seen undergone several expansions since its inception. After initially opening in 1979 with 8 bedrooms, the house has expanded to 48 bedrooms with state-of-the-art kitchens, a licensed K-12 school, a movie theater, a half-court gym, work-out facility and computer lab.
