Pig Pickin’ Barbeque Fundraises for Jacksonville RMHC

American Equity Mortgage and the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Jacksonville teamed up on October 23 for the annual Pig Pickin' Barbeque.

The day had a Hawaiian theme with flowered table cloths, leis and grass skirts. The barbeque featured college football games, casino games, MoJo BBQ along with live music by Alex Seier.

"It was an honor to represent AEM at an event that has contributed so much to the health and well being of so many Jacksonville children. It was a fun time with games, music, food & football for all ages," said AEM Mortgage Consultant Keith Roth.

Since their first house opened in 1988, the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Jacksonville have served over 28,000 families. Their two Houses and Ronald McDonald Family Room give comfort to families with children who are being treated at local hospitals.
