Princess Wishes Come True for a Columbus Girl!

Aria, a beautiful four year old from the Columbus, Ohio area, suffers from Alagille Syndrome, a genetic disorder that affects the heart, liver and other systems of the body. Despite Aria's illness, she loves dressing up as her favorite Disney princesses, watching their movies and doing what any other girl her age does.

When Aria was asked what her wish was, she responded with, "I want to meet all the princesses at Disney World!" American Equity Mortgage was there to help make Aria's wish come true!

Aria and her family were driven to the airport in a limousine fit for a princess and stayed at Give Kids the World. While there, Aria took in a show with Blue from Blue's Clues, rode the carousel at the village, went to Epcot, Universal Studios and met all of the super heros at Islands of Adventure. The best part of the trip was when Aria was invited to a special lunch with all of her favorite Disney princesses, and she even wore her Snow White costume for the occasion!

This trip to Florida was fulfilling a wish for Aria, but it meant so much more that that to the family. It was a time where they could focus on each other rather than illness, treatment and the stress associated with it. It was a time where they could reconnect and enjoy just being a family and forget about the challenges they have to face every day.
