AEM Sponsors Ronald McDonald House’s Black Tie Gala

American Equity Mortgage was a proud sponsor of the 2010 Black Tie Gala for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Wisconsin.

The night featured wine tasting, dinner and dancing to the music of the Eddie Butts Band. The House raised $245,000, with the proceeds going to help families with children who are being treated at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin or other area hospitals.

"Hearing from the families that stay at the Ronald McDonald House brought tears to our eyes. It is amazing to work for a company that does so much for our community," said AEM Administrative Assistant Stefanie Neustedter.

Since the first house opened in 1984, the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Wisconsin have helped over 31,000 families from 568 Wisconsin communities, 48 states and 26 foreign countries. In 2009 alone, the House served nearly 1,300 families.
