The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Oklahoma City held their 8th annual Red Shoe Gala on September 17 at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum. AEM was a proud sponsor of the Gala, which raised funds to help support the Oklahoma City's Ronald McDonald Houses.
Scott Brooks, Head Coach of the Oklahoma City Thunder and his wife, Sherry, were the Honorary Co-Chairs for the event. The evening included games, auctions and dancing with the music of the Talk of the Town Orchestra.
"The Ronald McDonald House Red Shoe Gala was a lot of fun. It's a great event for an even greater cause. I was really excited to be able to meet the Head Coach of the Oklahoma City Thunder and Ronald McDonald himself, of course! We all had a really good time," said Bridget Little, AEM Administrative Assistant.
The Ronald McDonald House of Oklahoma City has provided a "home away from home" for families in the Oklahoma City area since opening in 1984. The 15 bedrooms throughout the house provide support to families who could not otherwise afford it.
