AEM Team Supports RMHC in Raleigh Golf Tournament

American Equity Mortgage was a proud sponsor of the Ronald McDonald House of Durham's charity golf tournament on June 14 at Treyburn Country Club.

The event's proceeds supported the Ronald McDonald House of Durham's mission to allow families to focus on the health and well-being of their critically ill children by providing them with hope, comfort and empathy.

Since its opening on February 1, 1980, the House has provided safe and affordable housing for more than 20,000 families in need. It serves over 800 families per year.

Additionally, the nearby Ronald McDonald Family Room inside Duke Children's Hospital serves over 12,000 parents of critically ill children per year.

"We enjoyed representing American Equity Mortgage at the golf tournament for the Ronald McDonald House Charities," said Ted Wilson, Branch Manager. "The cause was phenomenal and the opportunity to support our community and an organization such as this cannot be described in words."
