AEM Honored for Support of American Cancer Society

American Equity Mortgage was honored for supporting the American Cancer Society at the Celebaroo VIP Reception on June 16 at the Plaza in Clayton.

The reception included cocktails, appetizers and entertainment. Margy Ash, AEM Executive Vice President, accepted an award recognizing American Equity Mortgage as the presenting sponsor for the Celebaroo Gala.

Proceeds from the Celebaroo events enable the American Cancer Society to move closer to their goal of "a world with less cancer and more birthdays." Over three million volunteers support the American Cancer Society's efforts every year.

"I attended the American Cancer Society event because cancer has visited my family. I have lost family members and my mom is in remission and doing very well. I am always gratified and eager to support people and organizations who work hard at the fight against cancer," Ashley J. Dortch, Loan Processor said.
