A Racing Wish Come True for Twin Cities Boy!

Brandon, a ten year old boy who lives near the twin cities in Minneapolis, doesn't let his diagnosis of Leukemia slow him down. He loves sports, in particular the Indianapolis 500. In fact, attending the Indy 500 was Brandon's wish to the Make- A-Wish foundation. American Equity Mortgage worked with the Make-A-Wish foundation to make Brandon's need for speed come true!

A special wish party was held for Brandon at a local go-kart race track. He celebrated with family and his new friends from AEM with food and, of course, a bit of racing in the go-karts. An AEM employee recalled how grateful Brandon and his family were, hearing his mother comment, "We appreciate all that your company has done to help Brandon's wish come true. It is also great to know that you are helping children all over the country ."

Brandon and his family had a fantastic time at the Indy 500, and Brandon was able to forget about fighting cancer for a day while he enjoyed his wish. The family relaxed, reconnected and focused on have a great time . It was truly something they will never forget.
