AEM Runs with the Military in the USO Mud Run

American Equity Mortgage sponsored the 2011 USO Mud Run at MidAmerica Airport in Mascoutah, Illinois. The USO of Missouri is a private, non-profit organization that provides inviting facilities to the military during travel, and also hosts recreational activities for the military and their families at local bases.

The Mud Run is a 5K cross country run designed for testing endurance while challenging runners with mud pits and water crossings along the way. The proceeds from the Mud Run benefited the efforts of the USO of Missouri. AEM employees Ryan Rojas and Patrick Hustler completed the Mud Run.

"The USO Mud Run was a great opportunity to play like a kid again. I got to be active and get dirty, and it was all for a great cause, to help support our nation's service men and women. I can't wait to do it again next year,"Ryan Rojas, Underwriter said.
