A Swimming Pool for Dylan as AEM Grants His Wish!

When Dylan, a six year old in Atlanta, Georgia who suffers from Leukemia, was asked what his wish was, he had to give it a little thought. He considered a trip to Disney World or even a dog, but he chose to wish for something that he and his family could all enjoy...a swimming pool in his back yard, and AEM was happy to help!

Now, when Dylan comes home from school, the first words out of his mouth are, "Can I get in yet?". Dylan and his family now go swimming every day and, according to his mom, "He's getting very brave and starting to take the water wings off and swim on his own." In fact, Dylan loves his new pool so much that his mom has a difficult time getting him out for dinner and bed!

Dylan's wish for a pool has brought so much joy to him and his family, and great memories of summer time fun will be made for years to come.
