American Equity Mortgage Races for the Cure in Columbus

American Equity Mortgage was proud to have 19 team members participate in the annual Race for the Cure in Columbus on May 22.

The race's proceeds went towards Susan G. Komen for the Cure's mission to "save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find the cures."

The organization funds grants to local hospitals and community organizations that provide breast health education and breast cancer screening and treatment programs for medically underserved women.

"It was a great race for a great cause," said Columbus Branch Manager Brian McCullough. "We were proud to represent American Equity Mortgage and show our support. Unfortunately we all have people in our lives that have been affected by breast cancer and helping with this race is the least we can do to help bring awareness and support to those who need it."
