Salt Lake City Supports RMHC of the Intermountain Area

American Equity Mortgage sponsored the "Spirit of the Children Gala" benefitting the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Intermountain Area on April 16 at the Little America Hotel.

The event, themed "The Riches of the Rainforest," featured a live auction, dinner, and dancing. The proceeds will allow the Ronald McDonald House to continue to provide a home for families of terminally ill or injured children receiving care in local hospitals.

Since 1988, the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Intermountain Area have served over 30,000 families in their two houses and "Family Room" located inside a medical center.

"The Ronald McDonald House Gala was another great success this year. It is so rewarding to know that I work for a company that gives back to our community and contributes to a cause that is vital to helping needy families. And to be able to see first hand the good that comes about by our contributions is a special opportunity. I was honored to represent AEM at this event," said Steven K.
