Caleb’s Wish Comes True in Oklahoma City!

Caleb, a five year old boy in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, suffers from Wilm's Tumor. Wilm's Tumor is a rare kidney cancer most often found in young children. When Caleb was asked what he most wanted to wish for, he said he would like to go to Disney World, meet Santa Claus and ride in Santa's sleigh. Caleb's wish was granted by American Equity Mortgage and the Make-A-Wish foundation!

Caleb's wish was granted in two parts. First, Caleb was delighted to meet Santa Claus, who extended a personal invitation for a ride in his sleigh during a local parade. What a thrill for Caleb that was, and his little sister got to come along too!

The second portion of Caleb's wish came true a bit later when he and his family traveled to Disney World. Caleb was treated like a VIP and received all of the special treatment. He was able to meet his favorite Disney characters, super heroes and tour the Magic Kingdom.

Caleb's wish being granted brought joy to a child who has had to suffer from so much in his young life. He was able to forget about being sick and just enjoy being a kid. For his family, the wish represented something more. It was a time for them to heal from the stresses of having a sick child , and to refocus their energies into the love and laughter that make up this family.
